Yes Basic Snowboard: Proven and Award-Winning
The Yes Basic snowboard is not just any snowboard; it is tested, proven, and loaded with awards. This board is developed as a versatile deck suitable for all types of riders and all types of terrain. Over the years, the Basic has been refined to the point where both professional snowboarders and beginners regularly reach for it.
Yes Basic with UnderBite
One of the most striking features of the Yes Basic is the UnderBite design. This design extracts more turns, more grip, and a better carve experience from every shape we apply it to, and the Basic was the starting point for all of this. The board was designed by Guillaume Rousseaux, and the UnderBite edge design redistributes the rider's weight in a way that improves turn ease and edge grip.
How does it work? The UnderBite technology creates notches inward in the binding area, reducing and disrupting the surface of the edge that comes into contact with the snow during turns. This increases the pressure on the edge by distributing your weight/energy to the areas where you need it - from the binding outward, and through the middle of the board where the carve occurs. This segmentation of the sidecut into 3 key zones directs your body's weight to areas that initiate, hold, and release turns.
But the Yes Basic snowboard offers more than just UnderBite. It features a core that runs from tip to tail, ensuring a predictable balance between durability, consistent flex, and lightweight construction. This means you can rely on the performance of the Basic, whether you're looking for fast carving adventures or just a relaxing day on the mountain.
In short, the Yes Basic snowboard is a proven and award-winning board that is ready to take on any challenge. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, the Basic delivers performance and versatility that you'll want to experience all day on the mountain. Go for certainty and choose the Yes Basic, and discover why it has become a favorite among snowboarders around the world.

Technical Specifications

Extruded base is softer than a sintered base, which is not necessarily a bad thing. At speeds that many ride, this material is actually faster since it picks up speed more quickly.
Yes basic core for the construction of wooden core snowboards from nose to tail. Provides a predictable balance between durability, consistent flex, and lightweight.
Biax fiberglass used in snowboards offers flexibility and responsiveness, allowing snowboarders to experience a more playful ride. It is ideal for freestyle riders and beginners due to its forgiveness and torsional stiffness.
The UnderBite edge design redistributes the rider's weight, improves turn ease and edge grip by creating notches in the binding area. These notches reduce the surface area of the edge that makes contact with the snow while turning, which increases pressure on the edge and concentrates your weight/energy on the areas that initiate, hold, and release turns.
The response of camber with the floatation of rocker. By combining camber and rocker, you can make the board both responsive and floaty.
A snowboard where the shape and dimensions are completely symmetrical, both in length and width.
