The advantage of this design is that it adapts exactly to the contours of your head, making the helmet feel like a comfortable cap while still meeting safety standards for bike and skate helmets. The FlexTech Instant Fit allows for immediate adjustment to any head shape. This system uses interconnected internal EPS foam segments, allowing the helmet to flex and adapt to the shape of your head. Tests have even shown that this segmentation of the EPS foam layer can dissipate energy faster than a conventional EPS lining.
The Arctic Kraken helmet features a hardshell construction, where the outer shell made of ABS or PP plastic is bonded with the EPS core. This results in a durable and ultimately impact-resistant two-piece construction. The helmet not only meets high safety standards but also provides optimal protection against hard impacts.
With the Tuned Fit System, every rider can adjust their fit using different thickness pads inside the helmet. The helmets come standard with two sizes of pads, each in a different color, so you can easily choose the right pads to perfectly tailor the helmet to your head. Adjusting the helmet with these included pads is essential for optimal comfort and safety.
The Low Fit design of TSG ensures that the helmet sits low and fully protects the back of the head and the sides of the head, without obstructing the field of vision or limiting movement. Hardshell helmets are made of ABS or PP plastic. This outer shell is glued to the EPS core for a two-part construction that offers high durability and ultimate protection against large impacts.
With the Tuned Fit system, a rider can adjust their own fit using pads of different thicknesses inside the helmet. TSG helmets always come with two sizes of pads. Each size is provided in a different color, making it easy to determine the right pads to fit the helmet on the head. It is very important to adjust the helmet with these included pads. If necessary, for example, the slightly thicker pads can be mounted at the back of the head, and the pad for the front of the head can be thinner, or vice versa.
