The snowboards an The Boardscompany are 3D pressed with a subtle lift (max. 1.5 mm) of the base and the edges at the ends. As a result the contact points sit just slightly off the snow. Thanks to Edge Lift Technology you have less chance of catching an edge while riding. This makes it easier to initiate turns with a more natural start and exit of your turns. You therefore ride smoother, enjoy learning new Tricks more, and also benefit from extra float in the powder.

Multi-Grip technology means extra contact points on the heel and toe side for additional grip in icy conditions. Think of it as snow chains for your car. The Multi-Grip technology consists of extremely subtle raised areas of just under 1 mm on the edges beneath your bindings. These are virtually invisible to the naked eye and barely noticeable in soft snow, but they do provide a smoother ride with significantly more grip on hard, icy snow. This lets you ride more stably and with greater confidence, even when the run becomes more challenging and slippery.
The THE Prisma TI is a powerful all-mountain snowboard for riders who like to explore the whole mountain. Think precise carving on piste, building up speed on long descents and diving into powder occasionally. The board clearly has a freeride character, but remains versatile enough to use as a single board for your entire winter trip.
What makes the Prisma TI special is the solid and stable construction. With a flex of 8/10 this board feels quite powerful. For a non-snowboard expert this means: the board bends less easily, which keeps it steadier at high speed and gives more control in aggressive turns. So it is not a soft and playful beginner board, but a snowboard for riders who like to ride faster with confidence.
The addition TI refers to Titanal, a metal-like layer in the board. This material provides extra damping and stability. Simply put: the board feels less nervous when the piste is hard, bumpy or icy. In addition, THE uses carbon, Kevlar and basalt. Carbon makes the board livelier and adds extra rebound, Kevlar helps dampen vibrations and basalt provides extra strength.
The shape is directional. That means the nose is longer and wider than the tail. As a result the nose stays above the snow more easily in powder and the board feels more stable when you pick up speed. The bindings are set slightly back, which also helps in deep snow. Still, you can steer it nicely and energetically on the piste.
The profile is called Pow Cam by THE. Between the bindings there is camber, which provides grip, stability and pop. The longer rocker nose helps to initiate turns more easily and to continue floating better in powder. The shorter rocker in the tail ensures you can finish turns powerfully.
Also useful are the Edge Lift Technology and Multi-Grip Technology. Edge Lift subtly lifts the contact points, making you less likely to catch an edge. Multi-Grip gives extra grip on hard or icy snow, a bit like having extra traction under your board.
The THE Prisma TI is available in 156, 160 and 164 cm and is especially suitable for snowboarders who are looking for a fast, stable and reliable board for piste, powder and freeride adventures.

Technical specifications
The Boardscompany stands for high-quality snowboards that combine innovation, control and fun for riders of every level. The brand focuses on user-friendly technologies and a playful yet reliable board feel, so you can ride with more confidence and Flow in all conditions.
The end product is a super-strong, lightweight and porous base. Because of the porous structure, this base holds wax better and for longer. Additions of carbon and graphite also ensure that the board glides extremely fast.
Biax fiberglass provides longitudinal stiffness with torsional forgiveness, resulting in a stable and smooth feel and easy turns.
Pow Savers are additional inserts that allow you to move your bindings further back so you can convert your board into a powder board.
The Bamboost Lite Core combines FSC bamboo, beechwood and paulownia for a lightweight, strong and lively snowboard core with plenty of pop, flex and reliable control.
Titanal is a metal alloy that provides extra damping, stability and a calm, smooth Ride, especially at speed and in challenging terrain. Because Titanal releases energy slowly, your snowboard feels stable and forgiving, while you still retain grip and control.
Triax fiberglass consists of 3 layers, which makes the board feel livelier and provides maximum power transfer to the edges.
