The snowboards of The Boardscompany are 3D-pressed with a subtle lift (max. 1.5 mm) of the base and the edges at the tips. As a result, the contact points sit slightly off the snow. Thanks to Edge Lift Technology you are less likely to catch an edge while riding. This makes it easier to initiate turns with a more natural start and exit of your turns. You therefore ride smoother, have more fun learning new Tricks and also benefit from extra float in the powder.

Multi-Grip technology means extra contact points on the heel and toe side for extra grip in icy conditions. Think of it as snow chains for your car. The Multi-Grip technology consists of extremely subtle elevations of just under 1 mm on the edges under your bindings. These are virtually invisible to the naked eye and barely noticeable in soft snow, but they do provide a smoother ride with significantly more grip on hard, icy snow. This lets you ride more stably and with greater confidence, even when the slope becomes a bit more challenging and slick.
The THE Alfa TI is, for me, truly the board when I want to get the most out of a day on the mountain. This is one of those snowboard that works everywhere—from perfectly groomed pistes to icy sections and fresh powder. It feels immediately stable and controlled, yet lively and playful, which gives me the confidence to go faster and carve better turns.
What really makes this board special is the power and technology you feel in every turn. The Triax fiberglass construction provides maximum power transfer to the edges, while carbon and titanal add extra pop, damping and stability. The result? A board that rides super energetic, but remains smooth at the same time, even at high speed.
The shape completes the package. Thanks to the CamRock combination I have grip and pop under my feet, but also smooth turn initiation and extra float in powder. The directional twin shape makes the board feel all-round, but gives just a bit more stability when I pick up speed.
What I personally find really chill is how forgiving the board remains. Initiating turns is effortless, even at lower speeds, while at high speed I notice how stable and precise it stays. The Multi-Grip and Edge Lift technology give extra confidence on hard or icy snow, without sacrificing a smooth Ride.
In short: the THE Alfa TI is not a standard all-mountain board for me, but a real upgrade. This is the kind of board that automatically makes you ride better and makes you want to get everything out of every run. As soon as I’m on it, I basically just want to keep going.
