The snowboards and The Boardscompany are 3D pressed with a subtle lift (max. 1.5 mm) of the base and the edges at the tips. This causes the contact points to sit slightly off the snow. Thanks to the Edge Lift Technology you are less likely to catch an edge while riding. This makes it easier to initiate turns with a more natural start and exit of your turns. As a result you ride smoother, enjoy learning new Tricks more, and also benefit from extra float in powder.

Multi-Grip technology means extra contact points on the heel and toe sides for extra grip in icy conditions. Think of it as snow chains for your car. The Multi-Grip technology consists of extremely subtle ridges of just under 1 mm on the edges beneath your bindings. These are virtually invisible to the naked eye and hardly noticeable in soft snow, but they do provide a smoother ride with significantly more grip on hard, icy snow. This makes you ride more stably and with greater confidence, even when the slope becomes a bit more challenging and slick.
The THE Alfa LT Dusk Grey is for me truly the board I can ride everything with, without thinking. Whether I want to cruise relaxed or push a bit harder, this board always feels stable and super predictable. It’s that kind of all-mountain snowboard that effortlessly adapts to my style and the day’s conditions
What struck me right away is how easy this board rides. Initiating turns happens naturally, even at low speed, and that gives a lot of confidence. At the same time, the board remains surprisingly stable when I pick up the pace or ride harder, icy runs. That makes it ideal for me, whether I’m just starting out or have been on the mountain for years.
The shape plays a big role in that. Thanks to the CamRock combination – camber under my feet and rocker in the nose and tail – I get grip and pop when I need it, but also a smooth and forgiving Ride. The directional twin shape ensures the board feels all-round, with just that little extra stability when I pick up speed or dive into the powder.
Under the hood there’s tech you can really feel. Triax fiberglass provides extra energy and direct power transfer to the edges, while biax fiberglass gives a smooth and forgiving feel. The addition of carbon gives the board extra pop and liveliness, without making it too aggressive.
The base is also exactly what I want: fast, strong and durable. Thanks to the porous structure wax stays in longer and I glide smoothly over flat sections and fast runs. Technologies like Edge Lift and Multi-Grip also make it less likely that I catch an edge and give me more grip on hard snow.
For me the THE Alfa LT Dusk Grey is not a standard snowboard, but a true all-rounder. This is the kind of board you want to grab every day, because you know it will always work—wherever you ride.
