The Smith Vantage 2 Matte Black is a helmet designed for riders who won't compromise. Smith refined this second generation further to raise comfort and ventilation to a higher level. The hybrid shell design combines the strength of ABS with the low weight of in-mold technology, giving you optimal protection without a heavy feel.
The Aerocore construction with Koroyd is one of Smith's smartest innovations. The open structure ensures constant airflow so heat and moisture are expelled immediately. During a hike or a sunny spring day you'll really notice how well this ventilation works.
The BOA 360 Fit System makes it easy to fine-tune the fit precisely to your head. You tighten or loosen it in seconds, even with gloves on. The XT2 antibacterial lining keeps the helmet fresh, and the removable ear pads make it compatible with audio systems if you like to listen to music on the mountain.
The Vantage 2 is also fully goggle compatible, which means you won't suffer from fogged lenses when using, for example, a Smith I/O Mag or Squad goggle. The airflow channels are designed to direct warm air out of your goggle to the outside.
