Discover the Rome Artifact
The Rome Artifact snowboard is a snowboard specifically designed for freestyle riders who feel at home in the park. This board is known for its playful character and focus on creativity, making it ideal for Tricks such as rails, jumps and presses. With a flex of 4 (on a scale of 10) it offers a soft, forgiving feel that is perfect for jibbing and technical park features.
What makes the Artifact unique is the combination of a classic camber profile and modern technologies. Thanks to the so‑called “Stay Positive Camber” the board delivers a stable and predictable ride, with enough pop for ollies and jumps. At the same time the soft flex makes the board easy to bend, which is essential for presses and butter Tricks.
In addition, the snowboard features a True Twin shape, which means it is fully symmetrical. This makes it ride just as well regular as in switch Stance, which is a major advantage for freestyle snowboarders. The “Twin Double Kick” technology makes it easier to ride off obstacles and significantly increases the board’s playfulness.
On a technical level the Artifact contains innovative materials such as Bamboo HotRods, which provide extra pop and responsiveness, and Flax Impact Plates that absorb shocks on hard landings. This not only increases the board’s durability but also the comfort while riding. The Powerslide base is a durable extruded base that requires relatively little maintenance and is still surprisingly fast on the piste.
Although the Rome Artifact is primarily aimed at park use (score 9/10), it can also perform reasonably well on groomers and in all-mountain conditions. In deep powder, however, it is less suitable, partly due to its twin shape and lack of setback.
In short, the Rome Artifact 2025/2026 is an ideal choice for snowboarders who want to develop their freestyle skills and are looking for a playful, reliable board for the park. It combines classic performance with modern technology and offers an excellent balance of control, flexibility and durability.
