The Nivia Set 3D Finder is a complete avalanche safety kit for freeriders, splitboarders and ski tourers who want to head into the mountains well prepared. This set contains everything you need for a standard avalanche rescue kit: the Nivia 3D Finder avalanche transceiver, a compact aluminium avalanche shovel and a 280 cm avalanche probe. That gives you an immediate, complete basic kit for off-piste days, tours and adventures beyond the groomed slopes.
The most notable component of this set is, of course, the Nivia 3D Finder. This digital avalanche transceiver with three antennas is developed to make searching faster, clearer and more intuitive. Thanks to GPS-guided 3D technology, the device helps you locate a victim with high precision. Nivia indicates that you can search up to 30% faster with this, without wasting time on complicated cross-search patterns. That makes the 3D Finder not only technically strong but above all practical when every second counts.
What we especially like is the large, high-contrast display. Even in bright sunlight, snow or difficult lighting conditions, the information remains clearly visible. The controls are deliberately kept simple: with the OFF/SEND/SEARCH switch you quickly toggle between the main functions, and the red marker button lets you mark multiple victims, perform a group check or adjust settings. The device charges easily via the USB-C port. In emergencies the 3D Finder can even help recharge your phone, while the transceiver itself always retains priority.
The included shovel is light, compact and made of anodized aluminium. With a telescoping shaft, a total length of 79 cm and a weight of 560 grams, it’s easy to carry in your backpack yet sturdy enough for serious use. The seven-piece aluminium probe measures 280 cm, weighs 328 grams and folds compactly to 46 cm.
