One of the biggest advantages of the Scala is the Dual BOA® Fit System: with two BOA dials you can fine-tune both the upper and lower zones of the boot separately for a precise, secure fit. That means quick and easy micro-adjustments, even on cold or wet mountain days. The Interlock System technology also locks the liner heel firmly in place, preventing annoying heel lift and keeping your foot in optimal contact with your board.
Underfoot, the Low Profile Real Rubber Outsole provides excellent grip and board feel. This lightweight outsole features an advanced tread pattern and contains recycled rubber in part, improving both durability and traction — ideal for hikes or walking to the lift.
The interior of the Scala is equally impressive: the Cloud 3 liner combines a classic Nitro fit with modern materials and design concepts, resulting in all-day comfort. With features like Pre-Molded Thermacell, a heat-moldable design and a Direct Lacing System (DLS) with Dyneema® cords, the liner shapes to your foot for maximum support and comfort right out of the box. The anatomical footbeds add extra cushioning and ergonomic support so you can keep going longer without tired feet.
