The Altai is built around an asymmetrical upper that integrates seamlessly with Nidecker and Flow binding straps, eliminating pressure points and ensuring a perfect fit. The Dual Dial BOA® Fit System features textile-coated laces and dual dials, letting you adjust the top and lower zones of the boot independently for ultimate control and comfort.
Underfoot our lightweight B.F.T Gravity 2.0 outsole provides impressive cushioning and traction, with a rubber toe for extra grip when walking over ice and rocks. We optimized the connection between the outsole and the boot using a molded section we call the Transition Zone, removing the usual hard edge to prevent it from catching on the heelcup of your binding.
Inside the Altai you'll find a new heat-moldable Silver liner that lets you customize the fit while also being comfortable straight out of the box. The Altai is a medium-flex boot that provides ample lateral support, making it ideal for carving deep tracks on piste or accurately threading through trees. Ready for anything. Built to withstand. From the park to the podium, H4 resists the impact of the most demanding snowboarders. The Coiler automatically takes up slack in the laces, speeds up entry into the boot and provides a precise fit that allows micro-adjustments.
An additional high-density EVA layer supports the deep heel cup and the anatomical arch, while softer EVA offers more flexibility in the forefoot. A silicone top-print gives traction to the fleece-lined footbed.
This liner has been completely redesigned and has no pressure points; closure is done via the cuff attached to the inside of the shell. This also makes the liner easy to put on and take off.
