Everything about the Nidecker Ultralight
Everything about the Nidecker Ultralight
The Ultralight represents the pinnacle of snowboard design: a high-quality freeride board that is exclusively constructed from the most premium and lightweight materials.

Absorbnid is an innovative top layer designed to absorb unwanted vibrations. This allows us to develop responsive, dynamic boards that still provide you with a smooth ride without fatigue.

The Ultralight dampens vibrations at the nose and tail through a construction we call Freeflex 3.0, and features a 3DN core that removes even more weight in the areas where it's needed.
Meet the Nidecker Ultralight: where snowboard design reaches its peak.
With careful precision and unwavering dedication to performance, the Ultralight stands as a testament to Nidecker's pursuit of excellence. This masterpiece of high-quality freeride performance is a symphony of innovation, exclusively crafted from the most premium and lightweight materials available.
The heart of the uncompromising specification of the Ultralight is the race-worthy N-9000 base. Designed to defy limits, this base launches you into an exhilarating world of lightning-fast speeds, whether you are conquering steep descents or gracefully navigating cat tracks. Combined with our lightest poplar/paulownia core and optimized with 3DN and Freeflex 3.0 technology, excess wood is carefully removed between the inserts and the tip and tail, reducing weight without compromising strength.
Carbonid topsheet
The Ultralight is not just any snowboard; it is a masterpiece of design and engineering. A full Carbonid topsheet, infused with carbon fiber, imbues the board with unwavering strength and F1-style responsiveness, ensuring that every exerted effort translates into an electric ride. Even when you push the limits and drive the throttle into the red zone, the Ultralight maintains a silky-smooth ride, cushioning your experience and delivering unparalleled performance.
The Ultralight elevates your ride to an art form, its aggressive shape tuned to conquer the grandeur of the mountain. The camber-rocker profile harmonizes with the terrain, giving you the power to carve majestic, immersive turns with precision and force. Whether you are gliding through pristine powder fields or slicing through challenging alpine landscapes, the design of the Ultralight enables you to excel.

Produced with carbon nanoparticles, the N 9000 has a very dense molecular structure, making it Nidecker's fastest, most durable base material.
This lightweight core with three different types of wood is a perfect combination of paulownia for lightness, poplar for pop and responsiveness, and hardwood beech along the edges to reinforce the core.
This triax laminate is the result of extensive testing with pro riders and engineers. It is laid at a 45-degree angle to the board and contains different glass densities. This ensures consistent torsional flex, better pop, and more responsiveness on every run.
Absorbnid is an innovative top layer designed to absorb unwanted vibrations. This allows us to develop responsive, dynamic boards that still provide you with a smooth ride without fatigue.
Freeride camrock increases the float and maintains the carving performance.
A directional shape provides improved performance and stability when riding in one direction, especially in freeriding and on powder snow.
