Everything about the Nidecker Supermatic Bindings
Everything about the Nidecker Supermatic Bindings
The new Nidecker Supermatic bindings are what snowboarders have been waiting for. The first automatic binding you can use in two different ways.

The Nidecker Supermatic is what snowboarders have been waiting for: the first universal, dual-entry, automatic binding

The baseplate is made from bulletproof glass-filled nylon, with a Slip-N-Grip plate that lets your toe slide over the pad to make entry even easier
The Nidecker Supermatic LT is an evolution of the original Supermatic, equipped with a stiffer, asymmetrical highback, low-mass TPU strap and the updated LSR 2.0 auto-lock ratchets. I experience this binding like a precision rifle under my snowboard – it tracks effortlessly, feels extremely responsive and provides enough stiffness for sharp carves or light park laps.
The entry is a breath of fresh air: you only need to click your foot in after a 'kick' against the highback – a process that takes just seconds. The Active Strap lifts the straps when the highback folds down, and once you return to riding position everything is snug and ready. For me this is ideal on busy slopes, because I don't waste time fiddling with knots or straps.
This binding is sturdy but remains light on the board – you hardly notice the weight during long days on the mountain. Minor downside: ultralight setup riders might prefer the carbon version. But the stiffness mix here feels ideal for those who want power and comfort without going too heavy. In short: highly recommended for all-mountain riders who don't want to compromise.

Technical Specifications
The original Supermatic® baseplate is based on our proven Axis platform and features Drop IN™ technology for lightning-fast entry. The glass-fiber reinforced nylon construction provides a versatile, medium-stiff flex, while the rounded corners preserve your snowboard's natural flex. Composition: 30% fiberglass / 70% nylon.
The updated LT highback offers extra lateral support, letting you apply more force into turns, pop with control and land solidly. The speed-entry ribs on the inside ensure your boots slide in smoothly. Composition: 30% fiberglass / 70% nylon.
Locking buckles to set your preferred strap tightness. Set them and forget them for automatic mode or use them as regular buckles for a Two-Strap experience.
All Jones bindings include a disc that is compatible with traditional 4x4 inserts, 2x4 and the EST/Channel mounting system.
Molded from a single piece of injected TPU, the Exo-Frame S Hybrid is lightweight, indestructible and provides optimal support. The updated connection between ankle and toe and the smooth underside make stepping in and out easier than ever.
The updated Hexo Toecap has an improved 3D shape that closes perfectly around the front of your boot. Thanks to the asymmetrical design you can swap the toecaps between left and right to fine-tune fit to your boot's size and shape.
