Everything about the Nidecker Supermatic Bindings
Everything about the Nidecker Supermatic Bindings
The new Nidecker Supermatic bindings are what snowboard has been waiting for. The first automatic binding that you can use in two different ways.

The Nidecker Supermatic is what snowboarders have been waiting for: the first universal, dual-entry, automatic binding.

The baseplate is made of bulletproof glass-filled nylon, with a Slip-N-Grip plate that allows your toe to slide over the pad to make stepping in even easier.
The Nidecker Supermatic LT is an evolution of the original Supermatic, equipped with a stricter, asymmetrical highback, low-mass TPU strap, and the updated LSR 2.0 auto-lock ratchets. I experience this binding as a precision rifle under my snowboard – it aligns effortlessly, feels very responsive, and offers enough stiffness to make sharp carves or do light park work.
The entry is a breath of fresh air: you only need to click your foot in after a 'kick' against the highback – a process that happens in a matter of seconds. The Active Strap lifts the straps up during the folding down of the highback, and as soon as you return to riding position, everything fits snugly again. For me, this is ideal on busy slopes, as I don't waste time and focus on knots or straps.
This binding is sturdy but remains light on the board – you notice little weight during longer days on the slope. A minor downside: for ultra-light setup riders, you might prefer to consider the carbon version. But the stiffness mix here feels ideal for those seeking power and comfort without wanting to go too heavy. In short: highly recommended for all-mountain riders who don't want to compromise.

The updated highback of the LT offers extra lateral support, allowing you to put more power into turns, push off with control, and land firmly. The speed-entry ribs on the inside ensure that your boots slide in smoothly. Composition: 30% fiberglass / 70% nylon.
Lockable buckles to secure the desired tightness of the strap. Set them and forget them for automatic mode or use them as regular buckles for the Two-Strap experience.

Made from a single piece of injected TPU, the Exo-Frame S Hybrid is lightweight, indestructible, and provides optimal support. The renewed connection between the ankle and toe and the smooth surface on the underside ensure that getting in and out is easier than ever before.
