Everything about Nidecker Sensor Team
The Sensor is a playful freestyle snowboard that is loaded with technology to let you be creative all over the mountain.
It is built on our Master Core, a lightweight yet strong combination of poplar wood, beech wood, spruce wood, and paulownia.
Sidekick™ tips lift the edges slightly at the wide points to reduce the chance of catching; they also encourage the board to naturally find the fall line when you land a bit off-center.
Discover the Nidecker Sensor Team
Meet the Nidecker Sensor Team 2025 snowboard, a board designed for advanced freestyle riders looking for top performance and versatility on the mountain. This board combines innovative technologies with a thoughtful design to excel both in the park and on the piste.
Design and Construction
The Sensor Team features a True Twin shape, which means the board is completely symmetrical. This makes it ideal for freestyle riders who want to ride both regular and switch. The Standard CamRock profile combines camber between the bindings for optimal grip and stability, with rocker in the tip and tail for a playful feel and forgiveness on landings. This combination provides a perfect balance between precision and playfulness.
The Premium Sandwich construction of the board adds carbon stringers for extra pop, quicker edge response, and improved shock absorption. The Light Core consists of a mix of three types of wood, including lightweight paulownia and responsive poplar, reinforced with beech stringers in the center for added strength and pop. This construction results in an ultralight board that is easy to maneuver yet durable enough to withstand the heaviest landings.
Performance and Features
The Sensor Team comes equipped with an N-7000 sintered base, exclusively developed by Nidecker. This base combines the durability and low maintenance of an extruded base with the hardness and speed of a sintered base, resulting in a fast and durable base. Carbon inlays in the nose and tail reduce vibrations and increase snap during ollies, allowing you to confidently make higher jumps and smoother landings.
The board has a medium-stiff flex, providing a stable ride at high speeds and sufficient flexibility for technical Tricks in the park. The Absorbnid topsheet is designed to absorb unwanted vibrations, contributing to a smooth ride and reducing fatigue even after a whole day of riding.
Specifications and Availability

The N7000, exclusively developed by Nidecker, is an extremely strong, sintered base with added carbon nanoparticles that provide exceptional glide resistance.
The Master Core construction is the result of a long history of experimenting with materials and woodworking by Nidecker. It is the perfect harmony of different wood densities and varieties (poplar, beech, fir, and paulownia), resulting in a superior weight-performance-strength ratio and an ultra-strong, extra-responsive, lightweight core.
Biax plus retains the properties of the proven and tested 90-degree biaxial fiberglass weave, but Nidecker uses more glass to enhance power transmission. It is uncompromising in its response and energy return.
Absorbnid is an innovative top layer designed to absorb unwanted vibrations. This allows us to develop responsive, dynamic boards that still provide you with a smooth ride without fatigue.
Maximum directness and control
The true twin shape ensures that the snowboard is symmetrical in terms of shape and flex, allowing for comfortable and responsive riding in both directions.
