At Nidecker, we proudly set a new standard for all-mountain snowboard boots with the Nidecker Kita. Inspired by the technical demands of polar and mountain expeditions, this boot is packed with innovative features and delivers reliable performance from the first lift to the last descent. Comfort is central to the design of the Kita, starting with an asymmetrical shape that perfectly fits our bindings for a natural connection to your snowboard. Wherever possible, we have welded components on the upper instead of stitching, resulting in a unique seamless construction that is much more water-resistant. In addition, we have added a sturdy TPU guard called ArmourTech to the front of the boot, which protects your toes when maneuvering between rocks.
Dual Dial BOA® Fit System
The Dual Dial BOA® Fit System features a specially developed External Heel Lock, operated via the tongue dial, to keep your foot firmly in place. The lower part of the boot can be tightened with the lateral dial. The midsole contains two EVA components for enhanced cushioning, and the B.F.T Vibram Approach outsole benefits from an Icetrek rubber compound for unprecedented grip. Our new Transition Zone technology seamlessly connects this sole with the Exo Spine, which accelerates responsiveness and prevents damage to the back of the boot when entering and exiting the bindings.
With the premium Gold Wrap Liner, comfort and support are guaranteed from the moment you put the boot on - and of course it is fully heat moldable for a custom fit. An advanced anatomical shape in comfortable EVA material with high-quality EVA support for the deep heel and arch of the foot, and special EVA with high rebound capabilities that cushions the heel. A silicone top layer provides grip on the fleece-lined footbed.
Wrap-style asymmetric shape for no pressure points, better flex control, and easy on and off. The Custom Flex Zones give your toes room to move for warmth. Uses extra PU for lateral stiffness and efficient power transfer between the inner boot and the shell.
