Everything about the Nidecker Beta
Everything about the Nidecker Beta
With a shape that borrows its curves from Mother Nature, the Beta brings effortless float and natural glide to the deepest days.
This board is the most powder-oriented board in our Biomimicry Series.
The heart of the Beta is Nidecker’s NDK Swiss core, made from the most sustainably harvested wood, with targeted carbon material and an Absorbnid topsheet for the perfect balance between edge grip and damping.
Discover the Nidecker Beta
Step into the enchanting world of unparalleled powder adventures with the Nidecker Beta - a freeride snowboard that takes you to the most remote mountain landscapes and offers you the ultimate snow experience. This board is specifically designed for those who want to leave the beaten path and explore deep powder snow and steep slopes, with the assurance of outstanding performance.
The Directional shape of the Beta is crucial for its versatility in backcountry terrain. This shape means that the board has a distinct front and back, resulting in better float in powder and improved control at high-speed descents.
Surfy CamRock profile
The Surfy CamRock profile of the Beta is key to its ability to glide effortlessly through deep powder snow. This profile combines the stability of camber underfoot with the playfulness of rocker in the nose and tail. This allows you to make powerful turns and navigate smoothly over rough terrain.
A standout feature of the Beta is the Absorbnid topsheet. This technology provides excellent damping and absorption, resulting in a smooth ride, even on rough and uneven terrains. This makes the board perfect for freeriders seeking top performance, even in the most challenging conditions.

The N7000, exclusively developed by Nidecker, is an extremely strong, sintered base with added carbon nanoparticles that provide exceptional glide resistance.
The Master Core construction is the result of a long history of experimenting with materials and woodworking by Nidecker. It is the perfect harmony of different wood densities and varieties (poplar, beech, fir, and paulownia), resulting in a superior weight-performance-strength ratio and an ultra-strong, extra responsive, lightweight core.
Biax plus retains the properties of the proven and tested 90-degree biaxial fiberglass fabric, but Nidecker uses more glass to improve power transfer. It is uncompromising in its responsiveness and energy return.
Absorbnid is an innovative top layer designed to absorb unwanted vibrations. This allows us to develop responsive, dynamic boards that still provide a smooth ride without fatigue.
Increase the buoyancy and maintain the carve performance for a ride on the back foot.
A directional shape improves performance and stability when riding in one direction, especially in freeriding and on powder snow.
