The Nidecker Kita APX 2026 is a premium snowboard boot that perfectly blends performance and comfort for the serious all-mountain rider. With a flex rating of 4 out of 5, this boot delivers the right balance of responsiveness and comfort so you can tackle any terrain with confidence.
Innovative closure system
The Kita APX features the advanced Dual BOA® Wrap Strap system. The powerstrap is integrated into the boot and tightened via a BOA® H4 Coiler. This provides even pressure distribution across the foot and an immediate response, giving you optimal control while riding.
Comfort and fit
The thermo-moldable Gold liner delivers a perfect fit that adapts to your foot. This liner is made from high-quality memory foam, offering excellent comfort and support even during long days on the mountain.
Support and cushioning
Underfoot you'll find a 3D-shaped footbed with three different densities of EVA foam. This provides solid support for the heel and arch while the heel receives extra cushioning thanks to a specialized high-rebound foam. This reduces fatigue and keeps your feet feeling fresh even during intense use.
Durability and grip
The B.F.T. Vibram® Approach sole is designed for optimal grip and durability. This sole combines premium Vibram® rubber with a sturdy EVA midsole for added support and OC-KUSH cushioning in the heel and forefoot, delivering maximum comfort and stability on and off the slopes.
Additional features
The boot is equipped with an Exo Spine, an external spine that ensures direct power transmission from heel to toe. The Armor-Tech TPU strip protects the toe from wear, and the 3D-shaped toebox increases durability and water resistance by reducing seams and adding extra layers.

An advanced, 3D-molded insole from the biomechanical experts at OrthoLite®. Made from two material densities, including recycled EVA at the heel, the X40 wraps the entire foot for excellent support and exceptional rebound.
Wrap-style asymmetrical design eliminates pressure points, improves flex control, and makes it easier to get in and out. Custom Flex Zones give your toes room for warmth. Additional PU is used for lateral stiffness and efficient power transfer between the liner and the shell.
