Everything about the Lib Tech Rig
Everything about the Lib Tech Rig
Step into the world of ultimate snowboarding with the Lib Tech Rig, a masterpiece designed by Austen Sweetin for hard-charging adventures across varied terrain.

Magne-Traction is a patented technology that creates wavy cutting edges on snowboards for improved grip on icy and hard-packed snow. These waves provide additional contact points that increase stability and control.

"The board that can make every situation memorable. Whether you're hanging in the air, carving powder, or sliding on metal, it makes everything enjoyable. I always step off the board laughing. Well, I also always smile after I've fallen, but either way, the board is fun." - Brandon Reis.
Discover the Ultimate Snowboard Experience with the Lib Tech Rig - Created by Austen Sweetin
Austen Sweetin, a master of all disciplines of snowboarding, has ridden nearly every board from Lib Tech and explored every conceivable condition—especially powder. His deep knowledge of geometries and performance led to the birth of a true powerhouse: the Lib Tech Rig. In collaboration with the experiMENTAL design team he combined his favorite elements into an ultimate snowboard that is a hard-charging, resort-ripper, pow-blaster and all-terrain shredder in one.
The Lib Tech Rig, designed by Austen Sweetin, features a generous, floating nose combined with a switch-capable tail. This results in effortless flotation through powder while maintaining maneuverability for freestyle maneuvers. Deep carving sidecuts, wide waist widths and subtle taper provide a versatile experience, while the no-nonsense power OP chassis forms the board’s backbone. The robust and fast knifecut sintered base adds speed and durability to the mix.
The striking design is typically Austen: understated but visually appealing, with vibrant orange on a black background. What Austen rides becomes your rig—a tool for unrivaled performance and fun on the mountain.
Lib Tech C3 camber profile
One feature that sets the Lib Tech Rig apart is the use of the C3 camber profile. This most aggressive form of camber combines camber under the bindings with a slight rocker in the middle. This yields an aggressive riding style with subtle powder float and improved edge hold. The result? Ultimate control and versatility, making this snowboard suitable for a variety of riding styles and conditions.
Innovative, performance-driven and steeped in Austen Sweetin’s vision, the Lib Tech Rig is the embodiment of advanced snowboarding. Whether you’re plunging into deep powder, carving hard on piste or performing freestyle tricks, the Rig is ready to take you to new heights.
