All about the Jones Orion bindings
All about the Jones Orion bindings
The Orion binding is designed for freeriders looking for a comfortable and durable freeride binding with a freestyle friendly medium-soft flex.
Jones bindings offer adjustable damping and responsiveness by switching between Surf Mode and Freeride Mode. With Surf Mode, you can tweak harder, while the Freeride Mode keeps you locked in for maximum responsiveness.
The NOW Skate Tech system works like a skateboard truck and enhances board control while reducing foot fatigue by transferring energy directly from the binding to the edges of the board through a dynamic design.
The Jones Orion is the ideal freeride/freestyle snowboard binding.
The Jones Orion is equipped with SKATETECH technology that transfers your energy directly to the edges of the board through the most advanced Hanger 3.0. The Hanger 3.0 is wider for a better fit of the snowboard boot and has a larger footprint for improved energy transfer. The Progressive Flex Highback of the Orion is stiffer at the bottom and progressively softer towards the top for a precise and playful binding feel. The Jones Orion can be set in Surf mode or Freeride mode by switching bushings and interchanging the Comfort Flex Ankle Straps between bindings. The Comfort Flex ankle straps are 3D-shaped to evenly distribute the pressure from the strap and eliminate strap cut-in. The Orion is also equipped with the new 3D Flex Fit 2.0 capstrap. The unobtrusive 3D Flex Fit 2.0 capstrap is slightly stretchable to adapt to any boot shape.
Smooth pressure distribution through NOW Skate Tech
The snowboard bindings from Jones feature Now Skate Tech. A unique system that uses a hinge in the middle of the binding. This allows for a smooth pressure distribution from the toe and heel side of the binding on the snowboard.
You can easily mount the Jones Orion on any snowboard using the included 4x4 discs, which can also be mounted on a Burton board with a channel.
Need to adjust your binding during the day? No problem! The Orion is fully adjustable without tools or screwdrivers.
