Everything about the Jones Mercury bindings
Everything about the Jones Mercury bindings
The Jones Mercury bindings combine technical precision and comfort for an ultimate snowboarding experience.
Jones bindings offer adjustable dampening and responsiveness by switching between Surf Mode and Freeride Mode. With Surf Mode, you can tweak harder, while the Freeride Mode keeps you locked in for maximum responsiveness.
The NOW Skate Tech system works like a skateboard truck and improves board control while reducing foot fatigue by transferring energy directly from the binding to the edges of the board through a dynamic design.
The Jones Mercury snowboard binding is designed for the all mountain / freeride boarder, equipped with a stiff baseplate and slightly more flexible highback. Additionally, the binding features NOW-Skate technology that ensures direct energy transfer for maximum grip and responsiveness.
The Jones Mercury is the ideal all mountain / freeride - surf snowboard binding.
The Jones Mercury is a versatile snowboard binding with a perfect combination of supreme control and comfort. Do you want to freeride and are looking for maximum support? Or do you want a lot of freedom while surfing through the powder? Adjust the Flip-It ankle strap and bomb or surf down the mountain!
For this season (2023), the popular Jones Mercury has received an upgrade with 3D Flex Fit 2.0 toe straps that fit even better on every snowboard boot. Last season, the binding was already equipped with a new high-back. This Control Flex Highback, as Jones calls it, absorbs vibrations even better and reduces pressure on the calves. Additionally, there are new 3D AuxTech toe straps. These provide more comfort, durability, and responsiveness. To make the bindings even easier and quicker to fasten, Jones has equipped the Mercury with ASYM buckles. These updated aluminum buckles are lightweight and strong. This season, Jones has added the Hanger 3.0 and the Power Spine Ankle Straps to the already rich binding. The wide lower part of the Power Spine Strap is softer for more comfort and fits even better on the boot. In the middle, the strap has an extra spine that provides additional stiffness for ultimate responsiveness.
Smooth pressure distribution through NOW Skate Tech
The snowboard bindings from Jones are equipped with Now Skate Tech. A unique system that utilizes a hinge in the middle of the binding. This allows for smooth pressure distribution from the toe and heel side of the binding to the snowboard.
You can easily mount the Jones Mercury on any snowboard using the included 4x4 discs, which can also be mounted on a Burton board with a channel.
Adjusting your bindings during the day? No problem! The Mercury is fully adjustable without tools or wrenches.
