The Galaxy mittens feature a high-quality GORE-TEX ePE insert with Gore Warm technology, which ensures warmth and waterproofness go hand in hand. Thanks to this membrane, you are fully protected against snow, wet conditions, and cold winds – while your hands stay dry and comfortable, regardless of the circumstances. The PrimaLoft® Gold insulation (100% recycled polyester, 50/230 g) provides reliable warmth without unnecessary bulk, allowing for optimal freedom of movement.
The exterior is made of a combination of durable goat leather and 4-way stretch soft shell (94% nylon, 6% spandex) with a PFC-free DWR treatment. This makes the mitten water-repellent, breathable, and highly abrasion-resistant. The 100% goat leather palm also ensures excellent grip and extra sturdiness, which is essential during intensive days in the snow.
Inside, the soft lining made of 64% wool, 20% polyester, and 16% nylon (360 g) provides a warm, natural feel that effectively wicks away moisture and offers comfort, even with prolonged use. The mitten features an adjustable Velcro closure at the wrist, allowing you to easily create a snug fit, and a removable wrist strap to prevent loss during a quick descent or lift ride.
