The innovative design, made from a blend of 38% nylon and 62% ePTFE, ensures waterproof and breathable protection, making them the ideal choice for all weather conditions on the slopes.
For optimal warmth, the Dakine Excursion Mittens feature PrimaLoft® Gold insulation, composed of 55% recycled polyester and 45% polyester. This insulation, available in 170g for the mitt and 230g for the mittens, ensures that your fingers stay comfortably warm, even in the iciest environments. Combined with a 360g wool blend lining (64% wool, 20% polyester, 16% nylon), these mittens provide a cozy refuge for your hands amid the winter chill.
The palm of the Dakine Excursion Mittens is made from durable water-repellent 100% goatskin leather, ensuring long-lasting use and superior performance. The shell combines a 4-way stretch softshell and leather (41% goatskin, 41% nylon, 10% polyester, 8% elastane) treated with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish, enhancing the overall durability and weather resistance of these mittens.
With a cuff closure that is easy to put on and adjustable with Velcro, the Dakine Excursion Mittens offer a secure and customizable fit. Easy to put on and take off, they provide convenience without compromising functionality.
To extend the lifespan of your Dakine leather gloves, hand wash them with mild soap and warm water. Gently press out excess water before hanging them up to dry, avoiding the use of a heater or dryer. For optimal waterproof maintenance, Dakine recommends treating your gloves with Nikwax. Keep in mind that Nikwax may change the color of the leather, so it is advisable to test it on a small area first before applying it to the entire glove. Apply Nikwax by spreading it over all leather parts, repeating the process every 30 days and after washing for ongoing protection against the elements.
