The outer layer of the Camino Mitt is made from 61% recycled polyester and 39% polyester, treated with a PFC-free DWR finish to ensure water repellency. The DK Dry™ membrane provides waterproofing and breathability, blocking moisture from the outside while allowing perspiration to escape. The Hi Loft insulation, consisting of 50% recycled polyester and 50% polyester, offers excellent warmth without adding bulk.
A standout feature of the Camino Mitt is the removable Storm Liner glove. This 280g 4-way stretch fleece liner glove is touchscreen-compatible, allowing you to use your smartphone without exposing your hands to the cold. The liner can be worn separately on milder days or in combination with the outer mitten for extra warmth in cold conditions.
The palm of the mitten is reinforced with Rubbertec, a durable material that provides a strong grip and abrasion resistance. The 150g tricot lining feels soft against the skin and contributes to overall comfort. An internal heat pocket allows for the addition of hand warmers for extra warmth on extremely cold days.
Practical details such as the nose wipe panel on the thumb and the removable wrist strap with adjustable cord lock enhance usability. The cuff with one-handed drawcord closure ensures a good fit and prevents snow from entering.
