To maintain the quality of your Dakine leather gloves, carefully follow the care instructions. Hand wash them with mild soap and warm water, gently squeeze out excess water before hanging them up to dry. Avoid turning the mitts inside out during cleaning and let them dry at room temperature if possible. Dakine recommends treating your leather gloves/mitts with Nikwax to maintain waterproofing. Conduct a color test on a small area before applying Nikwax to the entire mitt, spreading it evenly and rubbing over all leather parts. Treat your mitts every 30 days and after washing for optimal waterproofing, so they remain your reliable companion in winter.
