Avoid turning the mittens inside out during cleaning and let them dry at room temperature if possible. Dakine recommends treating your leather gloves/mittens with Nikwax to maintain waterproofing. Perform a color test on a small area before applying Nikwax to the entire mitten, spreading it evenly and rubbing it over all leather parts.
