Technical Specifications
Capita snowboards are handmade in Austria using self-generated clean energy in The MotherShip™.
The SUPERDRIVE™ base material belongs to the category of Sintruded boards that offer the advantages of both sintered and extruded bases. These base materials have the properties and manufacturing techniques used in creating extruded base material, but due to the higher pressure and temperature the hardness of the surface is increased to levels that come close to those of most sintered base materials. SUPERDRIVE™ EX is the reference for sintered material.
Poppy lightweight Poplar core combined with Beech for more strength and durability. Newly designed to taper between the inserts for a more forgiving flex
Carbon fiber is known for its stiffness, high tensile strength, low weight, tolerance for high temperatures and low thermal expansion, and is one of the most popular materials used today in high-performance applications. We increase power and responsiveness across a wide range of models by integrating various adjustments to the thickness, width, weight, or weave of carbon fiber, so that our boards remain ultralight.
SPECIAL BLEND is an environmentally friendly wet lay-up process that uses our MAGIC BEAN™ resin component which uses less energy and delivers higher technical performance. This bonding process improves the working environment in the factory because it does not contain the same aggressive chemical properties found in resins used in other factories around the world.
The RESORT V3 profile offers the best of both worlds. It has a raised camber platform through the inserts to maintain high-speed edge grip on variable terrain, raised contact points to land and float in powder, and traditional tip and tail rockers for smoother transitions.
A snowboard with a symmetrical outline and flex, but with a slightly shifted setback binding position
