The EST edition provides a smoother feel and easier ollies, while balanced damping offers excellent control and a comfortable connection to the board.
The Burton Cartel EST is one of the most popular bindings in the medium-stiff segment. With above-average stiffness, this is a high-performance binding. It is made from a lightweight yet very strong combination of nylon and short-glass composite material, providing direct power transfer. There is also good underfoot cushioning for comfort on rough terrain and when landing park jumps. The straps are minimalist and conform perfectly to any snowboard boot. They are barely noticeable and create no pressure points. The highback is not too tall and has a rounded shape that doesn't restrict your lateral movement. The easily adjustable forward lean gives the right stance against your boot. There is also dedicated padding for extra damping and boot grip when initiating toe-side turns. The binding is highly adjustable in all dimensions and hasn't changed since last season. Several attractive colors are available to perfectly match your new or existing snowboard.
