The CamRock profile (a combination of camber and rocker) makes the difference. Camber underfoot gives you pop, grip and energy, while the rocker in the nose and tail provides smooth turn initiation and extra forgiveness. As a result the board feels lively and accessible at the same time—perfect for making fast progress without it ever becoming boring.
The construction is also high-end for a junior board. The lightweight wood core of paulownia and poplar provides a perfect mix of weight, pop and durability. Add the responsive fiberglass layers and you get a board that reacts immediately to your movements and gives great confidence at speed.
