The Union Strata Sand 2026 is designed for riders looking for a playful feel and surfy movement without sacrificing control. The soft flex of 5/10 makes it ideal for park, side hits, jibs, or cruising between turns. The Duraflex ST baseplate and highback are strong yet light, perfectly tuned for cold conditions so your binding won't discolor or lose performance. The asymmetrical highback gives you extra tweak options for presses and edge-spring movements.
The OTE Fused Vaporlite 2.0 bushings minimize vibrations and dampen hard landings without losing board connection. The FLAD-forward-lean system is tool-less adjustable, allowing you to quickly switch between mellow freeride Stance or significant forward lean for carve power on the slopes. With the Mini-disc mounting, this binding fits both traditional 4-x-2 screws and The Channel.
Thanks to Grade 8.8 hardware, you can count on a lifetime warranty on the baseplate and heel cup – giving you confidence during intensive use. The whole setup feels light (around 895 g per binding) but robust. Compared to Union Force, the Strata is less stiff, more relaxed, with more board feel and playfulness.
