The Union Flite Pro Black is really one of those bindings that I say: you will have fun with this, especially if you are still fully discovering what your style is. With its soft flex and extremely low weight, it feels immediately familiar, as if your feet have been in it for years. So it's ideal if you're just starting out with snowboarding, or if you want to master your first freestyle Tricks.
What makes this binding unique is its balanced setup. The Stage 8 Duraflex baseplate is the lightest ever from Union and in combination with the CP3 highback, you get a binding that offers you maximum freedom of movement. You especially notice this when riding at lower speeds or trying new Tricks without being harshly punished.
The straps do exactly what they need to do: securely hold your foot comfortably without feeling tight. The Exoframe 2.0 ankle strap distributes pressure perfectly, and the TS 1.0 Hexgrip toe strap maintains excellent grip on your boots even in cold temperatures. Everything is secured with reliable aluminum ratchets that operate smoothly and last a long time.
