Profile: Free The Ride Camber
This profile is specifically designed for all-mountain freeriding. The Camber in the tail provides power under your back foot in combination with rocker in the nose for effortless floating, allowing this profile to perform best when riding forward.
Shape: Tapered directional 15mm
This board features a wide nose and a tapered tail to help you float in powder and deliver forward-oriented performance. This taper helps provide agility in your turns and adds buoyancy in deep snow.
Directional Diamond 3D
Diamond 3D gives the base a 3D profile, turning up at the contact points to increase float in deep snow, improve handling on other terrain, provide smooth turns, reduce hang-ups at the steel edge, and make all-mountain riding easier. Directional Diamond 3D places the 3D profile only in the nose of the snowboard.
Core: Pop Core
The Pop Core is the most versatile and durable core from Rome, built with alternating strips of 20 mm poplar and paulownia wood.
Laminates: Biax Glass + Triax Glass
Biax Glass (below the core) consists of fibers at 90 degrees that give the board a milder and more torsionally playful feel. Triax glass (above the core) is fiberglass that runs in three different axes, providing torsional stiffness and extra snap.
Omega construction: Bamboo Omega HotRods
Bamboo Omega Hotrods are thin strips of bamboo that are milled into the core of the board, giving it a poppy and playful feel. These bamboo HotRods are placed in an Omega Carbon housing, ensuring extra strength and responsiveness. This board places a rod along the centerline of the board in the nose and tail.
Base: Sinterstrong base
This Sinterstrong base is easy to repair and requires little wax maintenance.
Extra: Flaxwalls
This is a layer that is laid between the core and the edge of the board. It reduces vibrations on the edge and thus provides more feel in the turns.
