Discover the Nitro Optisym Women’s Snowboard – a playful, forgiving, and creative freestyle board designed for female riders who want to express themselves all over the mountain. The Optisym is known as the “Friendly Freestyle” board: accessible, light, responsive, and designed to maximize fun, whether you're riding in the park, looking for side hits, or simply wishing to transform every run into your personal playground.
The shape of the Optisym is an Asym Twin, which means that the board feels completely symmetrical for switch and regular riding, but with a subtle asymmetrical design that makes turns smoother on both toe and heel sides. Combined with the Cam-Out Camber, you get a mix of responsiveness and forgiveness: enough pop and precision when you need it, but without the stiff feel of a traditional camber.
Inside, the Whiplash Core Profile provides extra pop at the nose and tail, while the Powercore II core made from poplar wood and reinforced stringers offers an optimal balance between playfulness and stiffness. The Ureshred sidewalls and durable Powerwall technology enhance both your control and impact resistance, making it ideal for rails, butters, and progression sessions in the park.
The board also features a Dual Degressive sidecut, resulting in a surfy, smooth entry without losing control at higher speeds. With a medium flex of about 5/10, the Optisym feels lively and playful, yet reliable when you want to stick landings or have carve moments on the slopes.
The sintered EcoSpeed-base ensures fast glide performance, good wax absorption, and durability, while the reinforced Railkiller edges withstand intensive park use. The laminate consists of Bi-Lite laminates, making the board light, strong, and flexible – perfect for creative freestyle runs.
Not only does the Optisym score high in performance: the board is made with eco-conscious materials such as FSC-certified wood, recycled metals, and water-based inks. Additionally, production runs entirely on solar energy.
