It provides immediate long-lasting water repellency (DWR), maintains breathability properties, replenishes tanning agents, restores color, and reduces scuff marks and signs of wear. It is non-flammable and contains no harmful solvents, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), or fluorocarbons. Nikwax Waterproofing Wax for Leather™ black is specially designed and optimized for black smooth leather footwear. The water-based formula targets leak spots, can be used on wet or dry leather, and does not overly soften it.

Instructions for use:
For the best results, clean footwear with Nikwax Footwear Cleaning Gel™.
1. Shake well before use.
2. Apply the wax using the sponge applicator to clean, wet, or dry leather. Rub it in carefully, paying extra attention to the seams.
3. Remove excess wax with a cloth, buffing for shine.
Note: Test first in an inconspicuous area. Waterproofing Wax for Leather™ on nubuck will smooth the leather.
