All about the Nidecker The Smoke
All about the Nidecker The Smoke
The Nidecker The Smoke is made for snowboarders who want to feel every descent like a surf session in deep powder. This stylish freeride board combines a playful character with impressive control and stability, allowing you to carve effortlessly through fresh snow, steep couloirs and perfectly groomed pistes.

The Surfy CamRock profile gives The Smoke a unique mix of grip, float, and maneuverability.

Under the hood is an ultralight Light Core made of poplar and paulownia wood, reinforced with beech stringers for extra pop and durability
The Nidecker The Mosquito is a compact powerhouse from Nidecker’s surf-inspired Snow Surf Quiver, designed for riders who want to approach the entire mountain like one big playground. This board is shorter than you’re used to, but don’t be fooled: the Mosquito is built to go fast, carve deep, and deliver ultimate fun in powder, on piste, and everything in between.
What immediately stands out is the unique shape. Thanks to the directional shape with an extra-long, upturned nose and a short, powerful tail, you float effortlessly through fresh snow. The Surfy CamRock profile combines a playful rocker in the nose with camber underfoot. That gives you that surf-feel in powder, but also the grip and precision you need on icy or hard-packed runs.
The Mosquito is a so-called volume-shift board: you ride it about 10 cm shorter than your normal snowboard, yet you retain stability and float thanks to the clever shape. This makes the board super nimble, playful, and surprisingly quick from edge to edge. Ideal for riders who like short, aggressive turns and want to play everywhere on the mountain.
Underfoot the Mosquito feels powerful and responsive. The stiff flex provides direct control and sharp edge grip, especially when you ride it at speed or lay into aggressive carves. The lightweight wood core gives the board liveliness and pop, while carbon reinforcements add extra stability and dampening at higher speeds. As a result, the Ride stays composed even when the terrain gets rough.
The finish is typical Nidecker: premium and functional. The fast sintered base provides maximum speed so you can accelerate out of any line with ease. This is not a freestyle board for the park, but a pure all-mountain surf machine for riders who love speed, style, and feel.
The Nidecker Mosquito is small, but dangerously fast and incredibly addictive. One run is enough to understand why this board is so loved: it turns every mountain into your personal playground.

Technical Specifications

Produced with carbon nanoparticles, the N 9000 has a very dense molecular structure, making it Nidecker's fastest, most durable base material.
This lightweight core with three different wood types is a perfect combination of paulownia for lightness, poplar for pop and responsiveness, and hardwood beech along the edges to reinforce the core.
This triax laminate is the result of extensive testing with pro riders and engineers. It is laid at a 45-degree angle to the board and contains varying glass densities. This provides a consistent torsional flex, better pop and more responsiveness on every run
Absorbnid is an innovative top layer designed to absorb unwanted vibrations. This allows us to develop responsive, dynamic boards that still give you a smooth, fatigue-free ride.
Surfy CamRock - has an extended rocker in the nose and a normal camber over the rest of the board. Together with a shorter tail, this ensures that you glide smoothly over bumps and powder and can initiate turns from your back foot. This gives a unique, surf-like feeling while riding.
A directional shape provides improved performance and stability when riding in one direction, especially for freeriding and in powder.
