All about the Nidecker The Gun
The Nidecker The Gun is not a snowboard for the faint‑hearted. This high‑performance freeride board has been developed for riders who seek maximum speed, control and stability on steep faces, in deep powder and on fast lines on the piste.

With an impressive length of 174 cm and a pronounced directional shape, The Gun is built to dominate big mountains and effortlessly blast through varied snow conditions.

Thanks to the Surfy CamRock profile shape, the board combines a long rocker in the nose with traditional camber under the feet. This allows the board to float smoothly in deep snow, while at the same time offering enormous grip and precision on hard-packed slopes.
Discover the Nidecker The Gun
The Nidecker The Gun is not a snowboard for the indecisive. This high-performance freeride board was developed for riders who seek maximum speed, control, and stability in steep faces, deep powder, and fast lines on the groomers. With an impressive length of 174 cm and a pronounced directional shape, The Gun is built to dominate big mountains and effortlessly charge through varied snow conditions.
The inspiration behind The Gun comes directly from the surf world. Just as surfers use a “gun” for massive waves, this snowboard is designed for riders who love big drops, high-speed carving, and endless powder runs. Thanks to the Surfy CamRock profile shape, the board combines a long rocker in the nose with traditional camber under the feet. This keeps the board floating smoothly in deep snow while also providing tremendous grip and precision on hardpack.
Under the hood sits a light but powerful Light Core of poplar and paulownia wood, reinforced with beech stringers for extra pop and stability. Carbon inserts in the nose and tail add extra responsiveness and dampen vibrations at high speed. Together with the stiff flex (4/5), this delivers an aggressive and direct ride feel that is perfect for experienced freeriders.
Technically, The Gun also shows what it’s made for. The exclusive Power Rails construction provides extra grip and energy transfer during powerful turns, while the lightning-fast N-9000 sintered base guarantees maximum speed. Whether you’re laying down long carves on freshly groomed pistes or charging steep backcountry lines, this board remains stable and reliable in all conditions.
With a score of 5/5 for powder and 4/5 for resort riding, the Nidecker The Gun is primarily aimed at freeriders who want to push their limits. Park riders should look elsewhere, but for lovers of speed, deep snow, and powerful turns, this is an absolute dream machine. Not for every day, but on the right mountain The Gun feels unforgettable.

Technical Specifications

Produced with carbon nanoparticles, the N 9000 has a very dense molecular structure, making it Nidecker's fastest, most durable base material.
This lightweight core with three different wood types is a perfect combination of paulownia for lightness, poplar for pop and responsiveness, and hardwood beech along the edges to strengthen the core
This triax laminate is the result of extensive testing with pro riders and engineers. It is laid at a 45-degree angle to the board and contains different glass densities. This provides a consistent torsional flex, better pop and more responsiveness on every run
Absorbnid is an innovative top layer designed to absorb unwanted vibrations. This allows us to develop responsive, dynamic boards that still give you a smooth ride without fatigue.
Surfy CamRock - has an extended rocker in the nose and a regular camber over the rest of the board. Together with a shorter tail this makes you glide smoothly over bumps and powder snow and initiate turns from your back foot. This gives a unique, surf-like feeling while riding.
A directional shape provides improved performance and stability when riding in a single direction, especially when freeriding and in powder.
