At Nidecker, we proudly set a new standard for all-mountain snowboard boots with the Nidecker Kita. Inspired by the technical demands of polar and mountain expeditions, this boot is packed with innovative features and offers reliable performance from the first lift to the last descent. Comfort is at the heart of the Kita's design, starting with an asymmetrical shape that perfectly fits our bindings for a natural connection with your snowboard. Where possible, we have welded components at the top instead of sewing, resulting in a unique seamless construction that is much more water-resistant. Additionally, we have added a sturdy TPU protection called ArmourTech to the front of the boot, which protects your toes when maneuvering between rocks.
Dual Dial BOA® Fit System
The Dual Dial BOA® Fit System features a specially developed External Heel Lock, which is controlled via the tongue dial, to keep your foot securely in place. The lower part of the boot can be tightened with the lateral dial. The midsole contains two EVA components for enhanced cushioning, and the B.F.T Vibram Approach outsole benefits from an Icetrek rubber compound for unprecedented grip. Our new Transition Zone technology seamlessly connects this sole with the Exo Spine, accelerating responsiveness and preventing damage to the back of the boot when entering and exiting the bindings.
With the high-quality Gold Wrap Liner, comfort and support are guaranteed from the moment you put on the boot - and of course, it is fully heat-moldable for a customized fit. An advanced anatomical shape in comfortable EVA material with high-quality EVA support for the deep heel and arch, and special EVA with high rebound capability that cushions the heel. A silicone top layer provides grip on the fleece-lined footbed.
Wrap-style asymmetrical shape for no pressure points, better flex control, and easy on and off. The Custom Flex Zones provide your toes with room to move for warmth. Use extra PU for lateral stiffness and efficient power transfer between the inner boot and the shell.
