For Rippers only! This hi-end, premium freestyle board is one of the better Lib Techs. C3 Camber construction and Magne Traction provide grip at top speed. Since 2022, the TRS has been equipped with a bamboo plate under the bindings, think of it as a gas pedal. With carves, this gives you more pressure on the edges, which increases the power of Magne Traction. Precision at high speed and a lot of pop is just what you want when you go hard or do big airs. In the competition circuit, nationally and even at Olympic level, you regularly see a TRS at the top of the kicker. Furthermore, you can expect speed from the sintered base.
Type: All-Mountain / Freeride
Flex: 6 (out of 10)
Profile: C3
Aggressive dominant camber zones to the contacts combined with a mild rocker between your feet. Subtle Banana rocker gives freestyle freedom with maximum end-to-end stability for big, high-speed lines. For aggressive, experienced riders. EJack, Jamie Lynn, and Fredi K's favorite.
Shape: true twin
A true twin is perfectly symmetrical, so it doesn't matter whether you go down left or right, the board feels the same. In a true twin, both the shape of the board and the core are the same. True Twin is perfect for people who ride a lot switch or do tricks where you rotate with your board, as the board feel is always the same during landings.
Core: 60% aspen / 40% paulownia
The HP core of Lib Tech mainly consists of aspen, which is a heavier type of wood; to make the snowboard lighter, there are 2 large strips of paulownia wood in the core.
Glass: tri-ax / bi-ax glass with basalt alloy
Top: eco sublimated bio beans top
Base: Sintered Knife Cut Base
A sintered base gives you the best glide ability. Having to take off your bindings or walk on a path will happen much less because this base just wants to keep going. The base consists of small plastic grains that are pressed together, leaving air between them where wax can settle. You do need to wax a sintered base more often because of this, but if you do it right, you'll notice it! Especially in warmer conditions, you'll keep gliding, while a extruded base creates a vacuum that slows it down.
Sidewalls: UHWM sintered / birch internal
UHWM is one of the strongest thermoplastic plastics available right now. This means you don't have to repair your board every time you hit a box, rail, or skis. On the inside of your sidewalls, there is a thin layer of birch; this type of wood is very strong and flexible, which helps your sidewall better distribute and absorb the force of an impact.
Edge: magne-traction
If you've ever ridden on ice, you know how quickly you can lose control there. Magne-traction cuts through ice and hard snow with 7 wavy bumps. Simply put, your edge bites into the ice instead of cutting through it, just like a serrated knife does with bread. But on normal snow on the slope, it provides control and hold, giving you the confidence to maintain speed. You'll especially feel this in turns where you apply force or during carving.
