Discover the Lib Tech MC Wayfinder III
The Lib Tech MC Wayfinder III is a freeride snowboard that excels in surf feel, control, and versatility. Developed in collaboration with legend Matt Cummins, this directional board is designed for riders who want to make the most of deep powder days without sacrificing performance on the piste.
The striking hourglass shape – with a wide nose and narrower tail – provides effortless float in powder snow. Thanks to the setback Stance, your weight is positioned slightly further back, allowing the nose to naturally float and requiring less effort during deep descents. The shape also offers excellent maneuverability, ideal for wooded runs or narrow passages.
The board utilizes Lib Tech’s C2 Hybrid camber profile: a combination of rocker between the bindings and camber underfoot. This offers the best of both worlds – stability and grip on hard surfaces, combined with playful flexibility and lift in softer snow. The medium-stiff flex (6.5–7/10) provides enough stiffness for speed and carve power without feeling cumbersome.
The construction is durable and performance-oriented. The OP+ core consists of a mix of maple and paulownia wood, resulting in a light and lively board. The sintered base is fast, strong, and highly resistant to wear, while the eco-friendly topsheet contributes to environmentally conscious production. The use of Triax and Biax fiberglass gives the board extra torsional strength and responsiveness when turning.
For added control, the Wayfinder III features Magne-Traction® wavy steel edges, which provide superior grip on ice and hard pistes – a significant advantage for those who want to maximize their board's performance even on non-powder days.
Conclusion: The Lib Tech Wayfinder III is an excellent freeride snowboard for those who love a surfy feel but also expect solid performance. It is playful, powerful, and incredibly versatile. Perfect for riders who want to ride powder, carve on the piste, and have a unique board under their feet. A reliable choice for adventurous boarders with style.
