Everything about Lib Tech Rig
Step into the world of ultimate snowboarding with the Lib Tech Rig, a masterpiece designed by Austen Sweetin for hard-charging adventures in diverse terrains.
Magne-Traction is a patented technology that creates wavy edges on snowboards for improved grip on icy and hard snow. These waves provide additional contact points that enhance stability and control.
"The board that can make any situation memorable. Whether you're hanging in the air, carving through powder, or sliding over metal, it makes everything enjoyable. I always step off the board with a smile. Well, I also always smile after I've fallen, but either way, the board is fun." - Brandon Reis.
Discover the Ultimate Snowboarding Experience with the Lib Tech Rig - Created by Austen Sweetin
Austen Sweetin, a master in all facets of snowboarding, has ridden almost every board from Lib Tech and explored every conceivable condition - especially in powder snow. His in-depth knowledge of geometries and performance has led to the birth of a true powerhouse: the Lib Tech Rig. In collaboration with the experiMENTAL design team, he has combined his favorite aspects into an ultimate snowboard that is a hard-charging, resort-ripper, pow-blaster, and all-terrain shredder all in one.
The Lib Tech Rig, designed by Austen Sweetin, features a generous and buoyant nose combined with a switch-functional tail. This results in effortless floating in powder snow while providing agility for freestyle maneuvers. Deep carving sidecuts, wide waist widths, and subtle taper offer a versatile experience, while the no-nonsense power OP chassis forms the backbone of the board. The robust and fast knifecut sintered base adds speed and durability to the mix.
The striking design is quintessentially Austen: understated yet visually appealing, featuring vibrant orange on a black background. What Austen's rig is, becomes your rig - an instrument for unparalleled performance and fun on the mountain.
Lib Tech C3 camber profile
A distinguishing feature of the Lib Tech Rig is the use of the C3 camber profile. This most aggressive form of camber combines camber under the bindings with a slight rocker in the center. This results in an aggressive riding style with subtle powder float and improved edge grip. The result? Ultimate control and versatility, making this snowboard suitable for various riding styles and conditions.
Innovative, performance-driven, and infused with Austen Sweetin's vision, the Lib Tech Rig is the embodiment of advanced snowboarding. Whether you are diving into deep powder, hard carving on groomed runs, or executing freestyle tricks, the Rig is ready to take you to new heights.
