Discover the Lib Tech DPR
The Lib Tech DPR (Developmental Project Realized) is the result of ten years of development and refinement. Based on the experience from the Double Dip series and designed by Lib Tech’s co-founder Pete Saari and his team, this board is built for versatile performance in the resort. The DPR combines precision, control, and playfulness in one powerful all-mountain freestyle snowboard that makes every ride special.
With a directional twin shape and an early rise nose, the DPR offers a perfect mix of forgiveness and stability. The nose rises slightly earlier, allowing the board to smoothly enter turns and effortlessly float in powder. Underfoot, a mild camber provides pop and liveliness, especially in the tail – ideal for jumps, carves, and playful lines along the piste.
The radial sidecut combined with mini-Magne-Traction® offers reliable grip, even on icy surfaces. The equal width of the nose and tail makes switch riding natural and effortless, making this board extremely suitable for progression in the park or for side hits along the piste.
The heart of the DPR is a lightweight, durable core made of Aspen and Paulownia wood, reinforced with triaxial and biaxial fiberglass. This makes the board feel responsive, yet smooth and accessible. The extruded TNT-base is low maintenance, fast, and reliable, while the eco-sublimated topsheet contributes to an environmentally conscious construction.
With a medium flex, the DPR is perfectly balanced: stiff enough for stability at speed, but flexible enough to play and experiment. The board is handcrafted in the Mervin factory in the USA, with attention to quality and sustainability.
The Lib Tech DPR is ideal for the advanced resort rider who loves variety, progression, and playful control across the entire mountain. From powder days to park sessions – this board is ready for action every day.
