Discover the Lib Tech Apex Orca
Travis Rice took his beloved Orca and combined it with his high-performance snowboard dreams of the world freestyle tour, multiplied by Mike Olson’s technical composite magic, to create this ultralight supreme Orca freestyle evolution. The result is an unparalleled snowboard that is ready to take on any challenge.
The long, floating nose of the Orca loves powder snow and makes this board ideal for deep days in the backcountry. The directional C2 contour provides excellent performance on the piste, carves hardpack turns, and launches you off mountain side hits. The unique, powerful short radius camber tail offers maximum power and control, especially in tight, steep technical terrain. This makes the Apex Orca not only versatile but also extremely responsive and agile.
The construction of this snowboard is a technical marvel. Unidirectional carbon over 30° carbon mega X, combined with magnesium fiber bands, envelops a core made from recycled PET plastic bottles, Paulownia, and FSC® certified Aspen. This ensures a sustainable, environmentally responsible, and yet extremely strong base. The eco-sublimated bio-beans top sheet and the robust, fast sintered base add extra durability and speed.
One of the standout features of the Apex Orca is the elimination of swing weight with the new “Anti Matter” 3-D tips and tails, which results in a lighter and better performing snowboard. This makes it easier to execute maneuvers and provides unparalleled control.
This volume-shifted board should be ridden 3-6 cm shorter than your normal board, which contributes to its agility and performance. Travis Rice's dream of a directional pillow slayer has come true in this dreamy Techno Pop carbon construction. From ripping resorts to heli drops, the Apex Orca offers unmatched performance.
Experience the ultimate snowboard evolution with the Lib Tech Apex Orca, where lightweight technology, durability, and powerful performance come together. Step on and feel why this board sets the new standard in high-performance snowboarding.
