The Jones Ultralight Project X snowboard 2024 is a high-end all-mountain snowboard that has been specially developed for riders who want to combine maximum performance with an extremely low weight. This model is known as the lightest solid board in the Jones lineup and offers a unique mix of power, precision and playfulness.
With its directional shape and medium flex (3/5) the Project X feels accessible and controlled, while remaining energetic and responsive. Thanks to the combination of camber and rocker the board provides excellent grip on hard pistes, while effortlessly keeping afloat in powder. The slightly tapered shape and short sidecut also deliver quick, smooth turns and a playful character in variable conditions.
What truly sets this board apart is the advanced construction. The Fusion Carbon build – a combination of carbon and fiberglass from tip to tail – significantly reduces weight without sacrificing stability or responsiveness. The innovative Koroyd core, derived from aerospace technology, absorbs vibrations and lowers swing weight, resulting in a smooth and fast ride. In addition, the lightweight Fusion Core (paulownia wood with poplar reinforcement) provides an optimal balance between strength and weight.
The high-performance Ultra Base with carbon additives offers exceptional speed and excellent wax absorption, allowing you to glide effortlessly over any type of snow. At the same time, the durable Eco Topsheet, made from bioplastic, contributes to a lower environmental impact without compromising durability.
In terms of versatility the Project X scores maximally on all-mountain use and nearly perfect in freeride and powder conditions. It is less suited for park riding, making this board especially ideal for advanced snowboarders who love carving, speed and technical descents.
In short, the Jones Ultralight Project X is a premium snowboard for riders who demand the best: ultralight, blazing fast and built for top performance in any terrain.

Technical specifications
Jones Snowboards distinguishes itself through the constant pursuit of innovation and performance, integrating technologies such as 3D Contour Base and Traction Tech to offer superior grip and agility. Furthermore, the brand is known for its strong commitment to sustainability, making it a frontrunner in environmentally friendly production and awareness in the snowboard industry.
Jones exclusively sintered base-material with carbon additives for industry-leading speed and optimal wax absorption. Infused with multiple types of wax for an exceptionally smooth glide in warm, wet, and variable snow conditions. Made in Austria.
High-tech wooden core, crafted from carefully selected paulownia wood with poplar inserts along the sidecut for extra edge durability. Specially developed for the Jones Ultralight models: our lightest core ever, with a perfect balance between strength and weight.
Developed from aerospace technology: the award-winning synthetic Koroyd core material is the lightest damping material we've ever tested. It absorbs vibrations and reduces the swing weight of the tip, resulting in faster and smoother turns.
Ultralight version of our bio-plastic topsheet made from castor beans, designed to be extremely durable and scratch-resistant while minimizing environmental impact.
A hybrid rocker/camber flex pattern with more tip rocker than tail rocker and camber between the bindings. The rocker tip drives the nose of the board and improves maneuverability, while the camber under the foot provides edge hold and response. A slightly rockered tail provides the power and stability of a traditional board, but helps keep the tail catch-free when carving and when making a switch landing.
A directional shape provides improved performance and stability when riding in one direction, especially for freeriding and in powder.
