The new Jones Twincraft is the snowboard for riders who want to ride powder with a freestyle mindset. Developed within the innovative Surf Series of Jones and shaped by legendary surf shaper Chris Christenson, the Twincraft combines effortless float in deep snow with the playful feel of a twin board. This makes it the perfect choice for snowboarders who want to pop pillows, hit natural side hits, and ride creatively across the whole mountain.
The Twincraft has a unique directional twin shape with an extra-wide, volume-shifted outline. This lets you ride the board shorter without sacrificing float or stability. The wide platform provides maximum buoyancy in powder, while the twin shape keeps switch riding natural and playful. That gives the Twincraft a unique combination of freestyle freedom and freeride performance.
The renewed Surf Camber profile provides a perfect balance between responsiveness and surf feel. Camber underfoot delivers strong grip, pop, and stability when you pick up speed, while the rocker zones create a loose, floaty Ride in deep snow. As a result, the Twincraft not only feels amazing in powder but also surprisingly strong on groomed runs and in variable snow conditions.
Technically this board is also packed with premium features. The innovative Low 3D Contour Base and 3D Flip Tips reduce edge catch and make turns super smooth and intuitive. This lets the board steer playfully and fluidly, even in chopped powder or technical tree runs. The lightweight Master Core of paulownia and poplar provides lots of pop and durability, while the BComp Carbon Flax stringers add extra responsiveness and vibration damping for more control at speed.
With a medium flex of 6/10 the Twincraft offers just the right mix of playfulness and stability. The board feels lively enough for freestyle Tricks, yet powerful enough for fast freeride lines and deep powder days. The fast Sintered 8000 Base also provides excellent glide and durability in all conditions.
