The revamped Jones Mind Expander 2.0 is the snowboard for riders who want to combine freeriding with a playful surf style. Developed in collaboration with legendary surf shaper Chris Christenson, this board brings a unique Flow to the mountain. The new 2.0 shape makes the Mind Expander more stable, faster and more versatile than ever, while retaining its loose and creative character. This is a board that lets you effortlessly surf through powder, take natural side hits and turn every descent into one big playground.
Thanks to the tapered directional shape and the updated Surf Camber profile, you get the best of both worlds: powerful grip underfoot and a smooth, floaty feel in deep snow. The rocker in the nose and tail lets the board float effortlessly in powder, while the camber between the bindings provides control, pop and stability on hard snow. This makes the Mind Expander 2.0 feel not only great in backcountry conditions, but also surprisingly strong on the piste.
The High 3D Contour Base elevates the surf feeling to a higher level. The spoon shape in the nose and tail reduces edge catch and makes turns extremely smooth. The result is a playful and intuitive board that switches edges fluidly and maneuvers effortlessly through chopped powder and technical lines. Riders who love creative lines and a loose, surfy style will especially fall in love with the character of the Mind Expander 2.0.
The construction of this board is also packed with premium technology. The lightweight Master Core of paulownia and poplar offers a perfect mix of pop, durability and low weight. Carbon Flax stringers add extra response and vibration damping, keeping the board stable when you pick up speed. The fast Sintered 8000 Base also provides impressive glide in all snow conditions.
With a medium flex of 6/10 the Mind Expander 2.0 feels playful enough for creative freeride lines, yet powerful enough for solid carves and higher speeds. Jones also recommends riding this volume-shifted board slightly shorter than a traditional freeride snowboard.
In short: the Jones Mind Expander 2.0 is a unique freeride snowboard for riders seeking maximum Flow, surf feeling and creativity. From deep powder days to playful resort laps—this board makes every descent more fun, smoother and addictively good.

Technical specifications
Jones Snowboards distinguishes itself through the constant pursuit of innovation and performance, integrating technologies such as 3D Contour Base and Traction Tech to provide superior grip and maneuverability. In addition, the brand is known for its strong commitment to sustainability, making it a frontrunner in eco-friendly manufacturing and awareness in the snowboard industry.
New super-durable material made from ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) and carbon. The base is easy to repair, absorbs a lot of wax and is lightning-fast.
The Master Core is built from a 1:1 ratio of poplar and paulownia in alternating wooden stringers, which provides a lightweight, lively, and durable core with plenty of pop.
A dual-direction, dual-layer, stitched fiberglass laminate that delivers a fun, forgiving, and snappy ride.
Bioplastic topsheet made from castor beans. This eco-material is ultralight, chip/scratch-resistant and water/snow-repellent (snow sticks less to the topsheet).
The Directional Camber/Rocker profile of Jones combines camber along the full length of the board with rocker in the nose. This keeps the board powerful, responsive and stable, while the float and maneuverability in deep snow are improved – perfect for freeriding and powder riding.
A directional shape provides improved performance and stability when riding in a single direction, especially for freeriding and in powder snow.
