The renewed Jones Mind Expander 2.0 is the snowboard for riders who want to combine freeriding with a playful surf style. Developed in collaboration with legendary surf shaper Chris Christenson, this board brings a unique Flow to the mountain. The new 2.0 shape makes the Mind Expander more stable, faster and more versatile than ever, while retaining its loose and creative character. This is a board that lets you effortlessly surf through powder, hit natural side hits and turn every descent into one big playground.
Thanks to the tapered directional shape and the renewed Surf Camber-profile you get the best of both worlds: powerful grip underfoot and a smooth, floaty feel in deep snow. The rocker in the nose and tail lets the board float effortlessly in powder, while the camber between the bindings provides control, pop and stability on hard snow. This makes the Mind Expander 2.0 not only feel great in backcountry conditions, but also surprisingly strong on the piste.
The High 3D Contour Base elevates the surf feeling to a higher level. The spoon shape in the nose and tail reduces edge catch and makes turns extremely smooth. The result is a playful and intuitive board that changes edges effortlessly and maneuvers through chopped powder and technical lines with ease.
