Magne-Traction is a patented technology that creates wavy edges on snowboards for improved grip on icy and hard snow. These waves provide additional contact points that enhance stability and control.

The Gnu Riders Choice is the snowboard for riders who want it all: power, precision, and playfulness in one board. With its True Twin Asymmetrical shape, this board is completely symmetrical for optimal switch riding, while the asymmetrical sidecut and core provide a more natural and powerful turning behavior – especially on the heelside. This makes the board not only versatile but also exceptionally controllable, whether you're playing in the park or charging on the piste.
The C2X profile – a combination of camber under the bindings and rocker in between – offers the perfect balance of grip, pop, and float. You get the stability you need for hard snow and technical lines, while also gliding effortlessly through powder. The built-in Magne-Traction® edges provide razor-sharp grip, even on icy surfaces, giving you confidence in every turn.
The core of the board consists of a lightweight, durable mix of FSC-certified Aspen and Paulownia wood. This not only provides plenty of pop but also makes the board surprisingly maneuverable. The carbon power bands add extra snap and response, ideal for jumps, spins, and hard landings. The sintered base is super fast, durable, and holds wax well – ready for long days on the mountain.
With a medium flex, the Riders Choice feels stable at speed and on technical descents, yet remains playful enough for butter Tricks, side hits, and switch riding. The raised zones under the bindings (Delightwood Asym Chip) also ensure direct energy transfer to the edges, allowing the board to respond quickly and precisely.
