The Gnu Pro Choice is the Camber board of Jamie Anderson. Thanks to the camber shape, you have a lot of edge feel, super control, and stability. Everything you want to ride big kickers or to work on your technique on the slopes. With this board, you just want to give it a lot of gas, hit all the side hits, and take many jumps. The sintered base and the Carbon Power Bands give this board even more Hi-End board feel.
Type: Freestyle snowboard
Flex: 5.5 (out of 10)
Profile: C3 (Camber)
The favorite profile of Jamie Lynn and Fredi Kalbermatten. So you already know that the C3 stands for ultimate precision with a very minimal rocker. Powerful camber at the tip and tail, making the rocker profile even less noticeable. This profile provides ultimate edge hold, powerful pop, precision, and strength for your carves and lines. The perfect profile for aggressive snowboarding.
Shape: True Twin Asym
In a True Twin, the core is perfectly symmetrical, so it doesn't matter whether you go down left front or right front; the board feels the same. True Twin is perfect for people who ride a lot switch or do tricks where you spin, as the board feel is always the same during landings. Due to the asymmetrical shape, the heelside turns and toeside turns have a different turning radius. This makes heelside turns a bit easier and toeside turns even more enjoyable.
Core: G3 Eco Construction
The G3 Eco core from Lib Tech is made up of half Aspen wood. To make the snowboard lighter, there are 2 large strips of Paulownia wood in the core.
Topsheet fiberglass: Tri-Ax/Bi-Ax Fiber + Carbon Power Bands
The Tri-Ax fiberglass layer provides extra pop, and the Bi-Ax fiberglass layer ensures extra direct power transfer from the bindings to the steel edges.
Top: Eco-Sublimated Bio Beans
Base: Sintered Knife-Cut
A sintered base gives you the best glide ability. Having to take off your bindings or walk on a path will happen to you much less because this base just wants to keep going. The base consists of small plastic grains that are pressed together, leaving air between them where wax can get in. You do need to wax a sintered base more often because of this, but if you do it right, you'll notice it! Especially in warmer conditions, you'll keep gliding, while a extruded base will create a vacuum that slows it down.
Sidewalls: UHMW
UHMW is one of the strongest thermoplastic plastics available right now. This means you don't have to repair your board every time you hit a box, rail, or skis.
Steel edge: Magne-Traction
If you've ever ridden on ice, you know how quickly you can lose control. Magne-Traction cuts through ice and hard snow with 7 waves in the steel edge. Simply put, your steel edge bites into the ice instead of cutting, just like a serrated knife does with bread. But on normal snow on the slopes, it provides control and edge hold that gives you the confidence to maintain speed. You'll especially feel this in turns where you put power into or during carving.
