All about the Capita Mercury
All about the Capita Mercury
The Capita Mercury is designed for snowboarders who want to ride any terrain with speed, power and precision, without compromising on playfulness.

Hybrid camber shape that combines stability and pop.

FSC Dual Core™ with carbon for lightweight strength and durability.
In my opinion, the Capita Mercury is the snowboard for riders who don't want to limit themselves to a single discipline. This is a board that can do it all: backcountry, park, piste and powder. It feels immediately familiar and gives you the power to perform in any situation.
What I personally love is the balance the Mercury offers. The camber under your feet provides grip and stability, while the rocker zones in the nose and tail give you that extra float in deep snow. As a result, the board never feels heavy, but rather playful and responsive. For carvers this board is also a treat: it takes every turn cleanly and with a lot of energy, without making you feel controlled by your board.
The FSC Dual Core™ with carbon reinforcement makes the Mercury super light and powerful at the same time. This causes the board to respond quickly to every movement while remaining stable, even when you're charging down the mountain at high speed. The Hyperdrive™ base is truly a weapon: lightning-fast and durable, perfect for long runs or when you need that little extra speed to hit a kicker.
In terms of looks the Capita Mercury never disappoints either. Every year there's a clean design that matches the premium appearance of this board. It's not only a technical top board, but also one you'll be proud to carry under your arm.
A small downside: for beginners this board may be a bit too much. The Mercury calls for a rider who has control and experience so you can fully utilize the power and versatility. But for anyone who sees themselves as an advanced or expert rider, this board is a dream.
For me the Capita Mercury is the ultimate choice if you want to take only one board and don't want to make compromises. Whether you ride park, hit backcountry lines, or charge down the piste, this board is always ready to deliver.

Technical Specifications
Capita snowboards are handmade in Austria using self-generated clean energy in The MotherShip™.
Custom-made and exclusive for The Mothership, our engineers worked tirelessly with the world's largest supplier of polyethylene running soles to create HYPERDRIVE™. This sintered material has exceptional anti-friction properties thanks to a high molecular weight and specialized processing aids, a proprietary formulation, and is unprecedentedly fast.
An energetic premium core that is ultra-light and strong with excellent damping properties
Amplitex™ is a new generation natural flax fiber woven with carbon strands that is used in our high-end snowboard constructions. This fusion tape offers the best of both worlds: the reactive energy of carbon and the lightweight and damping properties of flax.
The HOLYSHEET™ Fiberglass construction uses fiber weaves with high tensile strength and a low modulus of elasticity. Thanks to a higher roving density at the same glass weight, you get a stronger and more responsive board without adding extra weight.
This revolutionary all-terrain shape offers the best of both worlds. It has a raised camber platform through the inserts to retain high-speed edge grip on variable terrain, elevated contact points to land and float in powder and Flat kick tip and tail arcs for quicker, more aggressive transitions.
A directional shape provides improved performance and stability when riding in a single direction, especially when freeriding and in powder.
