Meet the Capita Kazu Kokubo Pro
The Capita Kazu Kokubo Pro is a snowboard that to me symbolizes pure freeride performance. This board was designed in collaboration with Kazu Kokubo, one of the most stylish and powerful riders from Japan. Everything about this board screams backcountry: from the shape to the materials used, everything is built to dominate powder, steep lines, and technical runs
What I personally love is how the Kazu Kokubo Pro balances speed and control. The camber profile gives you solid grip and stability when you charge over hard snow or steep sections, while the directional shape and slightly longer nose make it effortless to stay afloat in deep powder. It feels like your board is always ready to deliver the best line.
Capita equipped this board with their FSC Dual Core™ reinforced with carbon, which provides brutal response without making the board heavy. In addition, the Hyperdrive™ base is truly a weapon: lightning-fast and durable, perfect for riders who take long backcountry runs or want to blast over groomers.
In terms of looks the Kazu Kokubo Pro is a stunner as well. Every year this board comes with graphics inspired by Japanese culture and Kazu's personal style. It’s more than just a snowboard; it almost feels like a piece of art you take up the mountain.
The only minor drawback I would mention is that this board is less suitable for freestyle or park. The focus is entirely on freeride and backcountry, so if you’re mainly after kickers and rails, this is not the right choice. But if you dream of deep powder, pillow lines, and technical descents, this board is truly made for you.
For me the Capita Kazu Kokubo Pro is a pure freeride machine. It’s a board that inspires confidence, handles speed, and helps you push your limits in the backcountry. An absolute recommendation for advanced and expert riders who want to get the most out of their winter sessions.

Technical Specifications
Capita snowboards are handmade in Austria using self-generated clean energy in The MotherShip™.
Exclusively developed for The MotherShip: HYPERDRIVE™ is an ultra-fast, sintered base with exceptional anti-friction properties due to a unique, patented composition. Thanks to the increased thickness of our XT bases, this base offers optimal durability, perfect for riders who always go full throttle.
Ultralight core, reinforced with Bamboo Power Rods™ for maximum power and response.
The HOLYSHEET™ Fiberglass configuration uses fiberglass weaves with high tensile strength and a low modulus of elasticity. By using a higher number of fibers at the same glass weight, you get a stronger, more responsive board without adding extra weight.
CARBONFLAX™ is a next-gen natural flax fiber woven with carbon threads and is used in our high-end snowboard constructions. This fusion tape brings together the best of both worlds: the reactive energy of carbon and the light, damping properties of flax. The two fibers are perfectly compatible because they have similar properties in terms of thermal expansion and tensile strength. The result is an evenly bending reinforcement that is light, responsive and durable at the same time.
The RESORT V3 profile offers the best of both worlds: an elevated camber platform at the inserts for stable edge control at high speed through variable terrain, raised contact points for soft landings and float in powder, and traditional tip and tail rockers for smoother transitions.
A directional shape provides improved performance and stability when riding in one direction, especially for freeriding and in powder.
