Everything about the Capita Aeronaut
The Capita Aeronaut combines lightweight agility with high-end stability, ideal for experienced snowboarders who want to achieve top results everywhere.

Carbon reinforcement for explosive pop and precision

PLT Topsheet Technology™ for an ultra-light premium finish
The Capita Aeronaut is, in my opinion, a board that has everything needed to make freeride and all-mountain snowboarders excel. From the moment you step on it you can feel how light it is, without sacrificing any power or stability. The combination of an ultralight core and strategic carbon reinforcement makes this board extremely responsive. Every carve, every line in the powder, is executed with precision.
The camber profile is designed for maximum grip and stability, so you retain control at high speed. In powder the shape provides more than enough float, while on hard snow it feels tight and reliable. For me this is the type of board that lets you confidently ride a technical chute, knowing it will do exactly what you want.
The finish is what you expect from Capita: premium in every detail. The PLT Topsheet Technology™ not only gives it a high-gloss luxury look, but also keeps it exceptionally light. You notice that immediately when switching from short turns to big, fast lines.
Although the Aeronaut is not the most forgiving option for beginners, it is a dream for advanced and expert riders. This is a board that pushes limits, not only in terms of performance but also in how it feels on the mountain. If you are looking for a lightweight yet extremely capable snowboard for serious mountain missions, the Aeronaut is the right choice.

Technical Specifications
Capita snowboards are handmade in Austria with self-generated clean energy in The MotherShip™.
Custom-made and exclusive to The Mothership, engineers worked tirelessly with the world’s largest supplier of polyethylene outsoles to create HYPERDRIVE™. This sintered material has exceptional low-friction properties thanks to a high molecular weight and specialized processing aids, a proprietary composition and is unprecedentedly fast. Our dedicated fans ride hard and we’ve integrated the fastest, meanest base on the market.
Ultra lightweight core reinforced with Bamboo Power Rods™ for maximum power and response.
"CARBONFLAX™ is a new generation of natural flax fiber, woven with carbon threads, which is used in our high-end snowboard constructions. This combination brings the best of both worlds: the reactive energy of carbon and the light, damping character of flax. The two fibers are highly compatible because they have similar properties in terms of thermal expansion and elongation at break, which ensures an even flex reinforcement that is light, responsive and durable all in one."
HOLYSHEET™ fiberglass configuration uses fibers with high tensile strength and a low modulus of elasticity. By increasing the number of fibers in the same weight of glass, you can make a stronger, more responsive board without adding extra weight.
The ALPINE V3 profile has a deeper traditional camber that flat before the end of the sidecut. The small zero camber sections provide a more controlled ride, while retaining the responsiveness and power of a throwback cambered board.
A directional shape provides improved performance and stability when riding in a single direction, especially when freeriding and in powder.
