The Burton Women’s Profile Mittens in True Black is a glove that I can recommend to every snowboarder. For me, good gloves always revolve around the balance between warmth, protection, and freedom of movement. These mittens manage to combine those three points just right.
The exterior is made of DRYRIDE 2-layer material that, together with the Dryride Insert membrane, ensures waterproofness and breathability. Your hands stay dry, whether you're standing in wet snow or spending a long day on the slopes. The Thermacore insulation adds a nice dose of warmth without making the glove feel heavy or stiff.
What I personally find a big plus is the Screen Grab® technology. This allows you to operate your smartphone or action cam without taking off your gloves. Especially on cold days, this is ideal because you can keep your hands warm while still taking photos or changing a song.
The soft lining ensures that the mittens feel natural and comfortable, even if you wear them all day. Moreover, you have good grip, which is handy for your bindings or holding your board on the lift.
